Gambling harm hides in personal lives, homes, and workplaces. Free Me South Africa makes it measurable, statutorily compliant, and reversible, for individuals, families, and South African employers.
Gambling harm doesn't stay in one place. It starts personal. It hits the home. It costs the workplace. FMSA addresses all three through a single, integrated framework.
The hidden 20-year story behind every gambling-harm case is personal. We meet individuals where they are: through open sessions, honest conversations, and the Rebuild & Rise programme, for those ready to step out and rebuild.
Rebuild & Rise →Gambling harm rarely affects one person alone. Spouses, parents, and children pay the cost. The Collision book and our family support pathway equip households to recognise the patterns and walk the road back together.
Family Resources →Workforce gambling harm is the only behavioural risk with a direct OHS Act Section 8 employer duty, and almost no SA employer is currently measuring it. RiskAnalytix™ gives the board a statute-anchored view, anonymously and at scale.

Gamban is UK-based gambling-blocking software that blocks access to gambling websites and apps on supported devices. Through FMSA, South African employers can now give their people Gamban as part of the Workplace Gambling Harm Reduction Management System.

FMSA was built on a clear conviction: gambling harm is too costly to ignore, too complex to oversimplify, and too personal to leave unspoken. Everything we do flows from these four principles.
We translate workforce behavioural risk into board-ready data: risk-banded scores, quarterly trends, and benchmarked KPIs. If it can't be measured, it can't be managed.
Every output maps to the OHS Act Section 8 employer duty of care, ISO 45003:2021, POPIA, and King V Principle 8. Compliance is the floor, not the ceiling.
k-anonymity is enforced at every layer. No individual employee is ever named, profiled, or surveilled. The board sees patterns; people retain dignity.
We exist because change is possible. The data exposes the risk; the framework opens the pathway. Detection without intervention is just judgement, and we don't trade in that.
Aggregated SA research on workforce gambling harm: the case for OHS Act Section 8 action.
Generic global frameworks don't fit South African workforces. FMSA was designed for the SA reality: the regulatory environment, the cultural context, and the lived experience.
The first South African behavioural risk intelligence scan built specifically for the OHS Act Section 8 workforce duty.
Built by a founder with twenty years of lived experience, not a consultancy framework retrofitted to SA.
Scoring frameworks reviewed and endorsed by clinical professionals working in addiction and behavioural health.
One score. One trend. One risk band. Quarterly reporting that lands in the boardroom without translation.
k-anonymity enforced at every layer. No employee is ever named or profiled. POPIA-compliant by architecture.
Detection, prevention, intervention, recovery. The risk scan is the start of the engagement, not the end.
One conversation maps your starting point: personal, family, or workforce. Confidential, no obligation, no judgement.
